We would like to congratulate Kevin Grigg, Acrospire Sales Director, on recently becoming a member of The Worshipful Company of Lightmongers.
During the Lightmongers Court meeting in February, the distinguished professional body installed six new members as Freemen.
Initially operating as trade guilds, the City of London’s first livery companies were founded in the 14th century.
Established in 1967, The Lightmongers is one of the modern Livery companies and number 96 in order of precedence within the City of London. As a modern company, the membership of The Worshipful Company of Lightmongers represents all sections of the Lighting and electrical industry, including lamp & luminaire manufacturers, electrical contractors, electrical wholesalers, public lighting engineers, consulting engineers, lighting designers, and architects.
1. Admission as a Freeman member
2. Attaining Freedom of the City of London
3. Progression to full membership as a Liveryman
Becoming a member of a Livery Company should be seen as a life-long commitment as, along with the many benefits, come obligations and responsibilities.
Kevin, comments, “It is an honour to have been invited to join the Lightmongers and recognised for my service to the lighting industry. I am very much looking forward to contributing to the Company.”
Such acknowledgement is well deserved. Highly accomplished and respected within the lighting community, with accolades such as Past President of the Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP), Kevin has served the industry for the last thirty years working with some of the biggest brands in the market.
Please join us as we wish him every success.
