Employee appreciation post: Neil Purdue’s Digital Hall of Fame

Welcome to the latest edition of our Digital Hall of Fame, where we put the spotlight on some of the individuals behind our brand. This month, we have the pleasure of introducing Neil Purdue, who has recently celebrated his five-year ‘birthday’ with the business.

With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Neil’s professional journey has taken him far and wide, including a stint living and working in Canada for two years.

We asked Tim Barker, Managing Director for his thoughts, Tim commented “Where do I start? The legend that is Neil. He’s not just one of the best engineers I have worked with but a key contributor to our team’s success. His unwavering dedication and expertise have been instrumental in our achievements, and it’s impossible not to be inspired by his work”.

Neil’s not just a qualified lighting designer and product design expert, he’s also a mentor to our new apprentices. His willingness to share his knowledge and guide the next generation of engineers is truly admirable, and it’s a testament to his commitment to the growth of our team.

But Neil is more than just a talented engineer; he’s a family man through and through. When he’s not revolutionising the industry, you can find him enjoying quality time with his loved ones, wildly cheering on his two boys in their sporting events. And let’s not forget about Barry, his loyal canine companion, who undoubtedly adds joy to Neil’s life.

However, there’s one thing Neil can’t quite warm up to – paperwork! But hey, no ones perfect.

In true Acrospire fashion, Neil’s quirks add to our team’s vibrant tapestry. Did you know he is fond of all things Lidl? Take a look at the photo below for proof.

Neil, we’re thrilled to welcome you to our Digital Hall of Fame and grateful for your contributions. Your work has made Acrospire a better place. Here’s to many more years of innovation, camaraderie, and perhaps less paperwork (no promises).
