PicoDot entered into the 2023 [d]arc awards

We’re delighted to share that we chose darc media’s [d]arc awards to launch a brand new and very exciting product.

PicoDot, is a versatile miniature façade luminaire, crafted to provide effective economically viable RGBW lighting experiences, for flush installation in a variety of orientations – including down lighting, handrail lighting, inground, or flush channel architectural effect lighting.

Originally developed for a CrossRail project, PicoDot is a mere 35mm in diameter, less than a 50 pence piece. With a robust Grade 316 Stainless Steel body, it seamlessly and discreetly integrates into any architectural setting or material, delivering a harmonious blend of form and function. The availability of Clear, Frosted, and Opaque Lens options further enhances customisation, catering to diverse aesthetic preferences. The luminaires can also be retrofitted into existing handrails or channels, with an innovative mounting system to make installation as straight-forward and easy as possible.

Powered by a bespoke RGBW LED PCB, our glare-free lighting solution offers dynamic, uniform lighting possibilities. Operating at just 4W (at 350mA) with DMX/Dali control options, it empowers users to orchestrate vibrant lighting displays tailored to specific requirements. With gentle transitions of light possible through adjusting the DMX controllable sequence. The adaptability of this fixture, combined with its IP67 water ingress rating and IK10 vandal resistance, ensures durability in various environmental conditions while maintaining optimal performance.

PicoDot is a true Made in Britain product. With our UK supply chain and commitment to sustainability, it boasts impressive carbon credentials for those environmental consciousness specifiers. Additionally, all Acrospire luminaires are designed for repair, upgrade, and/or recycling, upholding the ethos of the circular economy.

PicoDot was designed to surprise and delight in both interior and exterior applications. We offer custom finishing in any RAL colour or as an anodised finish to match scheme designs. Empowering designers to illuminate spaces with creativity and precision only possible through such a small luminaire.
